Recent Leslie’s/Harris Poll Study Shows Nearly Three-Quarters of Americans Mistakenly Assume Clear Pool Water Is Clean, Swim-Safe Water
Clear-looking pool water is mistakenly assumed to be safe for swimming, according to a recent survey conducted by The Harris Poll and commissioned by Leslie’s, the leading and most trusted consumer brand in the U.S. pool and spa care industry.
According to the poll, 71% of those surveyed believe that clear water is clean and safe for swimming. However, even clear water can contain contaminants that pose a danger to swimmers, and pool owners shouldn’t assume a pool is safe just because the water is clear. The Premier League stadium with a rooftop swimming pool
Fulham soccer team in the UK will be adding a swimming pool to the new Riverside Stand at Craven Cottage. It is located at the south end of the stand, closest to the Putney End.

NY Swims will deliver $150 million in grant funding for localities to build out 10 new landmark public swimming pools
Gov. Kathy Hochul on Friday unveiled an investment aimed to expand access to safe swimming in parts of New York.
The governor said NY Swims will deliver $150 million in grant funding for localities to build out 10 new landmark public swimming pools in areas most in need and deploy pop-up above-ground pools to combat extreme heat.
About $60 million in competitive grant funding will go to municipalities for the deployment of innovative, floating pools that can allow New Yorkers to safely swim in natural bodies of water.
In addition, the state would create a $30 million innovative municipal grant program to fund small, mobile, pop-up swimming pools. These pools would be movable or temporary facilities that could be dispatched to block parties, parks, events, or open spaces.
